CrossFit Sydney is a purpose built Strength and Conditioning facility that has CrossFit methodology at its center for training individuals to obtain fitness goals.

Strength and Conditioning protocols suit any fitness goals from sport specific beginner to elite athlete, outdoor pursuits, daily life and rehabilitation from injury.

Strength and Conditioning Protocols apply to all individuals with a focus on creating functional strength, strength endurance, anaerobic and aerobic recovery.

 

WHAT WE DO

Coached Group Sessions

At CrossFit Sydney we focus on Coached Group sessions to create a learning atmosphere for strength and conditioning formats.
You will be guided through a strength and conditioning work out including a Warm Up Mobility Focus Work Out (Work Out of the Day WOD) Specific Core Work and Stretch, Soft Tissue Work.

The Coached group sessions is unlike other group sessions in that you will be encouraged, taught and cued through a workout scaled for you.
The General Conditioning Program forms the basis for strength and conditioning goals down
the track.

CrossFit General Conditioning Program
CF Work Out of the Day (CF WOD)

Designed to strengthen weakness and maintain strengths. It will expose individuals to new movement patterns strength protocols and challenging conditioning circuits.

  • The daily general Conditioning Program will cover:
  • Beginner and Advanced Warm Up
  • Mobility Drills
  • Focused Work Out of the Day (WOD)
  • Core Work
  • Stretching and Soft Tissue work

The CF program is educational as much as it is fitness,you will be exposed to new movements and strength and conditioning protocols

As you adapt to the General Conditioning Program you may want to take your training further so we have areas for specific training as:

Olympic Lifting
Endurance Programing


Olympic Lifting WOD

Olympic Lifting protocols designed to get you lifting and improving strength and power in relation to the sport of Olympic Lifting.

 

Olympic Lifting Technique Sessions

Coached Olympic Lift Sessions

 

Endurance WOD Sessions

Interval formats on the C2 Rower, Bike, Ski or Run designed to focus on getting better at going distance.

 

Saturday Specialty Focus Sessions

These sessions will change each Saturday to give a focus on the technical elements of each area.

  • Gymnastic Basics
  • Row Technique
  • Mobility Stretch Therapy
  • Program Sessions ( Open Sessions)

 

Freedom to train

On the unlimited membership you are free to use the gym during open hours and group sessions to complete your own program or the Olympic Lift or Endurance WOD
Consult the Head Coach for the most appropriate area in relation to the group movements.
Got Specific Goals use our Programing service(Coach Programing) and let us get you there.

 

TAKING CF FURTHER

Coach Programing

At some stage whether through individual goals, sport specific goals or your own desire to improve you will need individual programing to go further with your development.

CFS offers goal based programing. Addressing:

  • Sport Specific Performance
  • Strength Development
  • Mass Gain or Loss
  • Rehabilitation
  • Nutrition

You may complete your program during any of the open hours or group sessios.
Consult Head coach to have area allocations.

 

Procedure
Email your goals, You will receive a brief or program then book a time for the 30min run through of the brief or program.

 

 

What is CrossFit
CrossFit is a foundational Core and Conditioning program that seeks to elicit as broad as adaptation response as possible utilizing training formats derived from Gymnastics, Olympic Weightlifting, Sprinting and Combat disciplines. The CrossFit Sydney focus is on the instruction of  correct technique through full range of motion in functional strength protocols. This produces what we believe to be a fitness level that is highly transferable to all athletic pursuits as well as daily functional physical tasks.
